Planet Africa - Archaeological time travel!

Archaeological issues transcend borders and their exploration has the potential to bring people and ideas together. Against the backdrop of Africa's great political diversity, archaeology can be a door opener for a continental connection beyond the often colonially drawn borders.

The Planet Africa exhibition aims to seize this opportunity and provide a pan-African perspective at the exhibition venues. In addition to communicating the content to target groups at the exhibition venue, the accompanying program is designed to promote intra-African and intercontinental dialogue through exchanges between archaeologists and museum staff, both digitally and live, on research questions and the exchange of experiences about the exhibition and its themes.
